This is a plain-English pre-launch privacy foundation. It will be reviewed and updated before ScamSure begins taking payments or processing customer accounts.
Who operates ScamSure
ScamSure is operated by Adam James in the United Kingdom. Adam James is responsible for how personal information is handled through the service.
Information we may collect
We may collect your email address, account and subscription status, support messages, basic technical information, and content you choose to submit for a scam check.
How information is used
Information is used to provide scam checks, secure and maintain the service, manage subscriptions, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and improve ScamSure.
Submitted content
Do not submit passwords, full card details, security codes or other unnecessary sensitive information. Before launch, ScamSure will document the retention period and the providers used to process submitted content.
Payments
Subscription payments will be handled by Stripe. ScamSure will not store full payment-card details. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy terms.
Your rights
Depending on applicable UK data-protection law, you may ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal information, or object to certain uses. A dedicated privacy contact address will be published before launch.
Changes
This notice may change as the service, its providers and its legal obligations are finalised. The date above will be updated when material changes are made.
