Pre-launch version · 14 August 2026
These are pre-launch terms for product testing and will be reviewed and completed before paid subscriptions open.
About ScamSure
ScamSure is operated by Adam James in the United Kingdom. The service helps users identify common warning signs in messages, links and screenshots.
Guidance, not a guarantee
ScamSure provides an automated risk assessment and general guidance. It cannot guarantee that content is safe or fraudulent and is not a substitute for contacting your bank, the police, a regulated adviser or the organisation concerned through an independently verified channel.
Safe use
You must not use ScamSure unlawfully, try to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, submit material you have no right to share, or rely on a result as the sole basis for a high-risk financial or legal decision.
Accounts and subscriptions
Each customer can make 8 free checks without entering card details. After those checks are used, the optional ScamSure Family subscription costs £4.99 per month and provides unlimited checks plus the benefits shown on the pricing page. There is no subscription free trial. Renewal and cancellation details are shown before purchase, and payments are processed by Stripe.
Availability
ScamSure may change, suspend or withdraw features while the service is developed. Reasonable care will be taken to keep information and checks useful, but uninterrupted or error-free access is not promised.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Final consumer-law and liability wording will be reviewed before commercial launch.
Governing law
The final terms will identify the applicable UK jurisdiction after the operator’s business arrangements are confirmed.
